BBS Welcomes the Students of Class of 2022

Baghdad Business School (BBS) held the second Orientation Day on Sunday, October 24 to welcome the students of the class of 2022 and introduce them to the BBS staff, faculty, and policies.

Christine van den Toorn, Founder of Baghdad Business School (BBS), welcomed the students and congratulated them on being selected for the Class of 2022. In her speech, she said, “We want to teach you how to be young professionals, and how you can succeed in the workplace.” She also emphasized the importance of equipping the Iraqi youth with the knowledge and the professional skills that will qualify them to work in the Iraqi private sector companies.

The students also hear from the English Language Program Coordinator, Aya Al Shabibi, about the General and Professional English courses, and from Dr. Yass AlKafaji, Director of the Business Program who talked to the students about the Business courses, and the importance of business education in their future careers. 

By the end of this event, the students have got acquainted with the staff, faculty, and their new classmates. They also received training on how to use BBS’s E-Learning System along with going through the course syllabus and student policies.
